Sandy works hard providing quality cleaning. For the past several years, she works in businesses and schools. As a result of her working in the schools, she befriended a teacher. Over time, the teacher felt comfortable enough to asked Sandy about her hands. Sandy kindly shared that she was born with abnormal hands and feet and has had many surgeries. The teacher was so impressed with Sandy, and her speaking skills, that she asked Sandy to come to her classroom and speak with her students. And Sandy did. She shared her background, her job information, and her hand abnormality with the students. They then had a chance to ask her questions. Sandy graciously answered every question. After the applause died down, the teacher reminded the students that we are all given talents and skills and we are challenged to use them. Showing kids that ABILITIES matter!
